Fightin' Army #55

"The Informer" tells of soldier Ernie Carr who is imprisoned in a Soviet camp; after ten days, he escapes and helps fellow prisoner Pete Hurley break free as well. Upon their return, Carr is court-martialed and shot for desertion, revealed to be a Soviet spy who had infiltrated the American ranks. "The Safe Way" follows a soldier who refuses to engage in reckless heroics during combat, advocating cautious tactics instead; after witnessing his comrades killed in a grenade attack, he joins the fight and eliminates the enemy soldiers responsible.
