This issue contains multiple war stories. "Combat Buddy!" follows Private James, a misfit soldier during the Korean War, who is assigned to deliver champagne to General Phoney at headquarters. Captain Gaynor pilots a plane to destroy German artillery observation balloons using hydrogen-filled gas bags, executing a daring maneuver to strafe and destroy them before parachuting to safety. Private Gruber embarks on a mission to deliver champagne for the general but takes a wrong turn into enemy territory, coming under fire and discovering a wrecked German vehicle before finding his way back.
