Fightin' Army #68

Lieutenant Joe Tompkins is assigned the task of convincing elite Nazi SS troops of the 3rd Panzer Division that their presence is unwelcome in the French village of St. Vraie during World War II. After initial resistance and combat with the German soldiers, Tompkins succeeds in his mission, and the SS troops ultimately withdraw from the village. The story concludes with the villagers grateful for Tompkins' efforts to liberate their town.
