Fightin' Marines #61

This issue contains two stories featuring Marine combat operations. "The Non-Combatants" follows Jughead Johnson, who originated the idea of equipping a radio operator with a helicopter, shotgun, and medic for front-line support. "Grandma's Chicks" depicts M/Sgt. Al Cavanaugh, known as "Grandma Brown" to his men, who fiercely protects his Marines in combat; when one of his soldiers is wounded, Grandma ensures he receives medical aid despite enemy fire and encourages a colleague named Pucinski by reminding him of the survival skills he taught him.
