The main story, "The Enemies Below," follows a nuclear submarine crew that intercepts enemy frogmen attempting sabotage underwater. After discovering the attack, the submarine's commander devises a strategy to avoid capture by blowing their tanks and forcing the vessel to the surface. The crew manages to escape the underwater threat and sets course for New London, though the enemy saboteurs meet a grim fate in the depths.
