This Grand Easter Number features three main comedy stories. "Laurel & Hardy" depicts Olly and Stan in an egg-shell-ent Easter adventure involving a hundred pounds of Easter eggs and complications with a postman named Sam Snatchitt. "Joe E. Brown" follows Joe as a soldier under Sergeant-Major Shorter, who tangles with Colonel Spooner-Poomer over a broomstick and ends up presenting improvements to make the place look untidy, ultimately winning a prize. "Buck Jones Rides Again in Western Thrillers" presents a tale of frontier deception where Buck Jones confronts the Skeleton gang and their prisoner, who turns out to be Buck's double. "Meet the Merry Max Miller" concludes the issue with Max Miller and Tilly Twiddle caught in Easter egg chaos involving a large log, Basil Blockhead, and various misadventures at tea time.
