Film Fun #1540 is an anthology comic featuring three comedy stories based on film stars and characters. Brown: The Famous Fellow of the Films" features Joe becoming infatuated with a writer named Daphne and attempting various schemes to win her heart, including an unsuccessful overnight vigil outside her home.
