"The Lively Larks of Harold Lloyd: The Pathé Mirth Merchant" features Harold Lloyd in "Put Out!", where he attempts to help his landlady evict troublesome tenants by performing balancing stunts with an office broom, only to be hit in the face with a door when he opens it. Additionally, the issue contains "Mother's Boy," a new serial beginning in this installment, in which young Jim Peck encounters a mysterious figure called the Spider who holds him captive; after Jim escapes with help from his friend Jack, a detective pursues the Spider to the Moat House. The anthology also includes "The Rolling Stones," an action-packed story about Burton Kent and Harry Prince pursuing the outlaw Two-Spot Jake and his gang across difficult terrain on horseback to recover stolen property.
