Film Fun #452
Film Fun #452 is an anthology issue containing three stories: "The Lively Larks of Harold Lloyd" presents a slapstick comic strip titled "Well Done!" in which Harold Lloyd attempts to rescue a blown-away thatch-case and ends up in a series of mishaps involving a well, an old merchant, and his horse; "The Race for the Border" is a Wild West yarn featuring Corporal Jack Carroll pursuing the fugitive Jules Lamont across rough terrain to rescue the girl Honey Maitland, culminating in a climactic struggle at a cliff edge; and "Larry Semons's Schooldays" is a school humor story written by Semons himself, in which Samuel Snagge and other schoolboys become embroiled in pranks and misadventures involving a stolen watch and a visit to a jeweler's shop. Additionally, "Harold Lloyd Comedies" presents "The Man Who Came Back," a narrative about a character named Buttah and his dealings with the landlord of the Dog's Nose Inn over outstanding rent and a mysterious summons.
