This is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "The Lively Larks of Harold Lloyd: The Pathé Mirth Merchant" depicts Harold Lloyd at a sports outfitter where he attempts to use a punching ball, but his coat's tail becomes caught and creates a series of comedic mishaps. "Larry Semon's Schooldays," written by Semon himself, follows schoolboy Samuel Snaggs as he navigates college life, dealing with a letter from his Uncle Oswald about money troubles and becoming involved in a detective scheme to catch a mysterious benefactor stealing from a moneylender. The issue also features "Mr. E," a text-based detective story about an inspector investigating a robbery and house mystery involving Mr. Goodfellow and other characters.
