Firehair #7

In "War Drums at Buffalo Bend," Firehair, the white daughter of the Sioux, discovers that soldiers have ridden into a trap set by Dakota warriors and rushes to warn them. After leading the soldiers to safety, she joins forces with a Colonel to pursue a gang of murdering Coyotes, swearing an oath to help bring law and order to Texas. Firehair and her companion Tex track the outlaws across the frontier, encountering dangers including dynamite and a treacherous river, where the gang's leader Carter apparently drowns in the rapids after being caught in the critter's stampede and dynamite blast.
