Firehair #7

In "War Drums at Buffalo Bend," Firehair, the white daughter of the Sioux, leads soldiers into a trap set by Dakota warriors and rescues a captured colonel. Her father reveals he is a former settler and teaches her that no man should be both judge and jury before departing. Firehair then joins Tex Rainger in tracking a gang of murderous coyotes across Texas to Crooked Fork, where she discovers the gang plans to rob a bank and cross into Mexico. After a dynamite explosion during a confrontation at a river, Firehair is swept over a waterfall and presumed drowned by the gang, though she survives and vows to reclaim her life.
