Frankenstein #23

The Frankenstein monster, who has befriended a young woman named Sue, returns to a shop to steal bottles and leads her back through the woods to his cave sanctuary, where he presents her with a gift and they share a moment of happiness together. When a lightning strike blocks the cave entrance with a landslide, the two are forced to remain sheltered there, making a wish that the rain will stop. Meanwhile, men pursuing the monster plot to capture and kill it the same way they destroyed a witch two months earlier. In a separate story, an art dealer named Chap Rosser negotiates with Carlene to exhibit her sculptures at his gallery, but his true intentions involve stealing her work and passing it off as his own at a public exhibition.
