Freckles #9

In the "Battle Stations" story, Freckles and his friends accidentally discover a young woman's scheme to use a military tank in a heist and help apprehend the criminals. The main story follows Freckles as he becomes entangled in a romantic misunderstanding when he owes five bucks to a girl, leading to complications when her father and various insurance policy-holders get involved in attempting to collect the debt. After reading insurance policies to find a loophole, Freckles discovers that policy-holders have unwittingly helped him, and he ultimately manages to resolve the situation with his girlfriend Hilda while the adults argue over payment arrangements.
