Freckles and His Friends #1 The first story follows Freckles and his friends as they attempt to resolve a romantic mix-up involving a girl named Bethany and a challenge known as "late dating," where multiple boys must take the same girl out on three consecutive dates. When the boys realize they've been duped by the girls into accepting this wager, they attempt to back out through various schemes, including staging a mock duel and ultimately fleeing town with the help of a girl named Hilda. The second feature, "Brenda Breeze" by Rolfe, depicts a young woman's various misadventures at a downtown gym, school of music, and boating location, played for comedic effect.
