This issue contains two stories: "The Silver Loving Cup," in which Allan Saunders works various odd jobs to earn money for roller skates so he can win a skating championship cup, but ultimately wins through a clever trick involving a package of eggs rather than athletic skill; and "Freddy," in which Freddy attempts to impress a woman named Denise by pretending to be a smooth operator, but his nervousness and misunderstandings lead to comedic misadventures as he tries to arrange dates and social outings.
