In "The Baby Sitter," Freddy's mother leaves him to care for baby Betty, assuring him the child is well-behaved, but Betty proves difficult and mischievous. Freddy struggles to manage her behavior, complaining that nobody understands him and that his talent for playing bongos goes unappreciated. When a mysterious figure arrives at the house, Freddy attempts to hide, but is discovered. In a second story, Freddy and his girlfriend attend an international amateur aviation competition featuring a traveling roadblock course and Aunt Matilda's stunt driving, leading to comedic interactions involving Freddy's attempted hot rod racing and a red airplane that he claims he could make fly faster.
