The issue contains two stories: a humorous tale featuring the Bedraggled Brothers, who attempt to return borrowed items to a store but encounter a blue cat that repeatedly attacks them, resulting in slapstick chaos; and "Fraidy Colt," a children's fable in which a young colt initially too timid to confront a wildcat eventually finds courage when the animal threatens the barn, chasing it away and earning the praise of the other farm animals.
