Fritzi Ritz #35
Fritzi Ritz attempts to get a good night's sleep but is repeatedly disturbed by a loud ticking alarm clock, which she finally throws out the window. Unable to rest without the noise she had grown accustomed to, Fritzi devises a solution involving dried peas in a pot to recreate the sound. Her plan backfires when neighborhood children discover her napping on the beach and repeatedly greet her, preventing any peaceful rest. The issue also includes a comedic subplot involving a film director's request for an actor to perform unusual antics, and a cartoon company's search for a real dog resembling the character Mopey the Mutt.
