This is an anthology issue featuring multiple animal character stories. "Atomic Mouse" depicts a giant brute sailor attempting to recruit crew members for Captain Blight's Death Boat, only to discover he and the other recruits have been "shanghaied" and must work aboard the vessel. "Willie the Worm in Rolling Snowball Gathers, Etc." follows Willie Worm and Sammy as they participate in mid-winter sports at Icy Hill, where they register for a contest that promises prize money, with new contestants arriving to compete in various winter activities.
