This issue features an anthology of humorous animal stories. "Blunderbunny" depicts a rabbit repeatedly being evicted from his house and seeking refuge with his pal Bunny. "Pals Forever!" tells the story of Bruiser the alley cat, who becomes trapped in a fire while chasing newspaper scraps but is rescued by Spotty the neighborhood dog, transforming them from enemies into lifelong friends. "Alkali Ike and His Horse Oatsie" shows Alkali Ike attempting to deposit his year's earnings at the bank, only to be pressured by his foreman into taking responsibility for the money instead.
