Funny Pages #5 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. Another story follows Lieutenant Dave aboard a submarine investigating a bomb threat; after a thorough search proves fruitless, Dave discovers a note revealing the saboteur's identity and location, leading him to the torpedo room to confront the culprit. A third story, "Abdallah," tells of a warrior named Buba who plots revenge against his brother's killer Abdallah by sending a false message claiming his father is dying, only for Abdallah to discover the deception and escape before Buba's forces can pursue him.
