"Explosive Fury" and "Red Battleground" The issue contains two war stories. In "Explosive Fury," a squad of G.I.s discovers that a booby-trapped rocket has been rigged to detonate, with a fourteen-minute fuse; they must race against time to locate and disarm the device while under fire from enemy positions. In "Red Battleground," American forces contend with Red guerrillas attempting to infiltrate and destroy a weather station on a tropical island; the conflict involves both surface combat and efforts to raid the station's radio equipment before an incoming supply vessel arrives with vital weather data.
