G. I. in Battle #2
"Truck Rescue" follows Lieutenant Commander Richard Falter and Commander Frank Robbins of the U.S. Navy as they navigate an unusual assignment in Korea: cooperating with Hollywood filmmaker Barry Novins to shoot a motion picture featuring marines in combat. When a Korean village is selected as a filming location, the officers discover that enemy forces are planning a major offensive, and they must warn the filmmakers while also preparing their men for battle. The story depicts the collision between the movie production and real warfare, as the soldiers realize the "reds" are launching an actual attack on the area where the film crew is working.
