G-I in Battle #8

An anthology of war stories featuring "Red Trap," in which Captain Law is assigned a dangerous mission to deliver a typhus vaccine to a guerrilla leader in the north while evading enemy forces. The story includes a subplot involving soldiers encountering a sick Korean civilian on a snowy road. A second story, "Land Thunder," follows Colonel Cross as he attempts to infiltrate an enemy position to learn about and stop the use of atomic mines as a weapon, employing deception to reach a command post where he discovers plans for a devastating atomic mine attack.
