G.I. Joe #15

This issue contains two main stories. "G.I. Joe the Best Man" depicts Sgt. Mulvaney and another soldier discussing marriage in a rear area of Korea while their outfit holds a precarious position overlooking enemy forces; the narrative follows the protagonist's experience manning a machine gun during intense combat, witnessing casualties and the weight of responsibility before achieving a successful defense. "Lacrosse Whoopee" shows Joe in combat against enemy forces, throwing a grenade at attacking soldiers while comrades join the fight, with the story ending as Joe and his sergeant celebrate their victory against the opposing forces.
