During the Korean War, soldiers under Lieutenant Mulvaney's command are ordered to move out quickly to cover new territory and gather intelligence on enemy positions. After discovering a communist command post and pinpointing the enemy's location, the men execute their mission and escape by water, successfully delivering the coordinates to their superior officers. The story also features a comedic subplot involving soldiers at a bazaar learning unconventional combat techniques, including a demonstration on how to incapacitate an enemy by pinning him down.
