This anthology issue contains three stories. "Beautiful Benny of Co. 'B'" follows soldiers who attempt to use a magic bean to make money, with a con artist named Jack promising wealth through a special bean that guarantees riches. The M.P.s seize the jeep and supplies while the soldiers try to hide their scheme. "The Yardbirds in the Great Escape" depicts soldiers on camouflage detail working to conceal a tree by loading it into a jeep for the General. In the third story, a character named Ready-Money attempts to sell drawings of "Beautiful Benny" as a comic strip to a newspaper for financial gain, offering a dollar per drawing, though negotiations over the strip's future remain uncertain.
