Gene Autry #1

Gene Autry pursues a criminal known as Cloven Hoof, who has kidnapped a woman named Corlie and murdered her grandfather, Rankin Dole. Gene and his partner Bob Holt work with the District Attorney to track Cloven Hoof through Hidden Canyon, eventually discovering Cloven Hoof is Rankin Dole himself, who faked his death and has been leading a gang. After a confrontation in a cave, Gene and Bob rescue Corlie and apprehend Cloven Hoof.
