Gene Autry #4

Gene Autry rescues a young boy from outlaws who are holding him for ransom and plan to split the reward. After the boy is shot but survives with only a bullet nick, Gene discovers that the sheriff and a man named Deuce Blair are working together in a scheme involving a secret door between the general store and Deuce's office. Gene uses his horse Champ and a clothesline rope trick to capture the criminals and prevent them from escaping with their ill-gotten gains.
