Gene Autry Comics #28

Gene Autry pursues a murderer through the woods of northern Texas, tracking a man named Alex Talbot who has a broken wrist and is wanted for killing his wife. After discovering the suspect's trail, Gene encounters complications when a wild horse disrupts his pursuit, but he manages to capture the culprit. In a secondary story, "Ghost of the Bar-X," Dave Burns and Whopper discover phantoms haunting the Bar-X Ranch, which turn out to be the outlaw Mister West threatening ranch owner Myra to force her to sell the property.
