George Pal's Puppetoons #19 This issue contains two stories. In the first, a fairy named Rusty takes a small character named Puff on a tour of a pond ecosystem, introducing him to various creatures and "pond people" who live in that environment. In "Jasper's Mistake," Jasper the character is sent by a scarecrow to buy crullers from a bakery with ten cents, but finds the bakery closed; desperate and confused about why a "closed" sign is displayed despite the business appearing open, Jasper's attempts to solve the problem lead him into humorous misadventures.
