This anthology issue features "Punchy and Judy in Big Top," in which Punchy encounters a wealthy man named Sylvester who keeps attempting to take Judy to the circus despite her repeated refusals, leading Punchy to devise a scheme to keep them apart. The story progresses through Punchy and Judy's discovery of prehistoric bones in the woods, a scientist's plan to create a puppet from these bones using chemicals, and ultimately the transformation of Rusty Sampson, a villain with broken chains, through a malted milk drink into a reformed character who becomes everyone's friend.
