"Mrs. Pigge and the Ornery Skunk" tells of a poor widow living alone in Leafy Forest who must contend with a mean skunk who demands her valuables; when she refuses and pushes him into her washing machine during a confrontation, the ordeal leaves him thoroughly cleaned and defeated, after which the police arrive to take him away.
