Going Steady with Betty #1

Betty breaks up with a young Hollywood actress named Miss Peppy after seeing a film clip of her farewell scene from "Domino and Roulette," then pursues various schemes to win Betty back, including demonstrating a jet-powered propulsion device he's developed at Holt-Colt Motors. When his atomic age invention proves too powerful and uncontrollable, he attempts to impress Betty at a bus terminal, but she arrives with another suitor, Don Wheels, leaving him devastated.
