Goofy Comics #44

This is an anthology issue containing at least two stories. The lead story, "Hawaii, Here We Come," features Goofy Gander and a short man (likely a ship's captain or sailor) heading to Hawaii on a surfboard and boat, with comic mishaps including encounters with fish and anchors in the water. The second story, "The Jungle Fire Department," by Jannie Drake, follows Peter Pelican, who wants to join the jungle fire department despite being a bird; when a jungle fire breaks out, Peter and his animal friends Leo Lion, Ernie Elephant, and George Giraffe establish their own makeshift fire department using their natural abilities to fight the blaze. A third story features Uncle Buddy teaching young mice to share a tricycle, which leads to chaos and fighting over the toy before Uncle Buddy reminds them they must play together peacefully.
