This issue contains two stories. "The Agony of Love" follows an assistant dean at Mt. Colloday College who discovers that a female student she has been disciplining for breaking curfew is actually struggling and clinging to her for support; the dean realizes she has misjudged the girl and offers her compassion instead of punishment. "Man Eats Crow" tells of a man named Dan who falls for Leda Prince, a woman he initially underestimated, but discovers through their relationship that she is manipulative and unfaithful, leading him to propose to her and later join her sorority to win her back after she leaves him for another man.
