Great Western #9
Straight Arrow, a skilled archer, travels south into the Comanches' sunny lands and encounters a great Comanche war chief who challenges him to prove his archery prowess. The war chief recounts his story of Walrus Tusk, a renegade Eskimo giant in the far north whose raids have devastated his people, and asks Straight Arrow to help defeat this enemy. Straight Arrow accepts the challenge and sets out on horseback to confront Walrus Tusk, engaging in various tests of strength and endurance against the toughest warriors sent to stop him, ultimately proving his superiority through feats of speed, acrobatics, and combat skill.
