Synopsis This issue contains two stories. "Blonde Bomber" follows ace photographer Honey Blake and her assistant Jimmy Slapso as they collaborate with scientist Dr. Fisher to photograph a valuable diamond using an X-ray spectrograph, a technical feat worth half a million dollars that will take two hours to complete. In a separate adventure, a group of men plan to bomb an underground world inhabited by humanoid insect creatures, leading to chaos when the creatures form a human chain and attempt tall-dropping to escape, resulting in martial arts combat and comedic mishaps. Additionally, a salvage crew financed by Lois, Dick, and Emken works to raise a radium ship, with divers descending hundreds of feet to secure it while monitoring progress from above.
