An anthology of Western tales featuring "Pocahontas," in which the adopted daughter of a fierce Indian chief named Powhatan grows into a beautiful plains-girl who unites Redman and White against a ruthless tyrant threatening them both, her name becoming legendary throughout history as "the Golden Avenger." The issue also includes stories such as one involving a stagecoach attack on the Hardrock Stage en route to Fort Milburn, where characters named Gunsmoke and Pedro defend against Indian assault, and a hunting adventure in which Fitzpatrick and other frontiersmen pursue a dangerous grizzly bear that threatens their camp and food supply.
