This anthology issue contains three Western stories. "Harry Roff, Daredevil of the Pony Express" follows a skilled rider transporting mail across dangerous frontier territory. "Ambush at Bloody Fort Henry" depicts Elizabeth Zane defending Fort Henry against a Shawnee raid after her father is mortally wounded, with her taking command of the pioneers' defense. "The Masked Marvel" tells of a supernatural horror terrorizing Santa Gulch—a blood-sucking creature that returns from the dead—which proves unstoppable even against the superhuman abilities of the masked avenger trying to stop its murders.
