This anthology issue contains two Western stories. "Indian Massacre Border Patrol Deadly Double" follows Gunsmoke as he helps capture an outlaw gang, after which he departs; Jerry and Jane are subsequently cleared of charges and freed. "The Masked Marvel" features Chet Fairchild, a soft-mannered oil man transformed by the Masked Marvel into a crime-fighting champion, who must investigate a mining engineer named Dan Hopper and uncover the identity of a bandit masquerading as his double while also dealing with frontier military tensions involving suspected gun smuggling to Native Americans at Fort Scott.
