Headline Comics #70

This anthology issue contains two crime stories adapted from True Police Cases. The first story involves a man named Hadley who is wanted for murder; when he is found and confronted, he claims he didn't commit the crime but killed a man named Shea in self-defense, and that Shea had actually been responsible for the original murder. The second story, "Face of Death," centers on a killer who murdered a man in May 1947 at a jewelry shop; the murderer is caught when police identify him by a broken-nosed thug who was seen leaving the crime scene, leading to his apprehension.
