Hercules #2

Hercules battles the giant Gerion, who boasts of his superior strength, but Hercules proves mightier and defeats him. After the victory, Hercules encounters a green serpent which wounds him, forcing him to return to the sea to recover. When villagers spot him emerging from the water, they mistake him for a demon and flee in fear. Meanwhile, in the Hall of Rothfor, the council plots against the Thane of Bagarth, and Garmscio offers to use Hercules to eliminate this threat by luring the hero into a deadly confrontation, though the plan backfires when Hercules ultimately triumphs over his would-be manipulators.
