Hickory #5

Hickory receives a letter from a farmer asking for help ridding his property of bothersome farm boys, leading the doctor to write back offering assistance. When Hickory arrives at the Perry Place, he encounters suspicious characters boarding a train and is directed to an old, allegedly haunted house where strange phenomena occur. After investigating and discovering the cause of the disturbances, Hickory helps the farmer by growing giant vegetables—including enormous tomatoes and other produce—that he plans to display at the county fair to impress a rival farmer named Tyler.
