An anthology of film-based romantic stories featuring previews of Hollywood movies. One story follows Susan, a traumatized child who witnesses her mother's murder and becomes emotionally withdrawn; Dr. Canford uses therapy with dolls to help Susan reconstruct the crime and recover, ultimately allowing her to testify against her father in the penitentiary. Another story depicts Steve and Johnny, two sailors whose wedding ceremony aboard ship is interrupted by an engine-room fire; Steve rescues the unconscious Johnny despite warnings from Kitty, and the three form a new life together after the voyage concludes safely at Capetown.
