This anthology issue contains multiple stories. "Secret Agent Z-21" follows government agents pursuing narcotic thieves across the country, planning an ambush at Six-Hammon Junction to intercept a new shipment. "Strongman" depicts the hero seizing an ancient cannon from enemies and using it to destroy a gun emplacement, saving the Panama Canal lock from enemy attack while Sanchez and the General flee on mules. A third story involves amateur detectives being kidnapped; when they arrive at their captors' hideout, one detective named Jerry is found unconscious, and the kidnappers force the remaining detectives to write a letter home.
