Hopalong Cassidy #66
In "Pistol Packin' Pattie," a woman testifies in court about a chicken thief, claiming that if she were a chicken, she'd roost high to avoid him. Meanwhile, Hopalong Cassidy investigates stolen Kress-Webster Coach vehicles and uncovers a scheme where crooks steal the coaches, repaint them, and sell them to unsuspecting buyers. Cassidy deduces the thieves must be the only company making coaches in the area and plans to recover the stolen vehicles from Harwell's factory to gather proof. After confronting the sheriff about the stolen coaches and receiving his cooperation, Hopalong works to expose the criminal operation.
