Hopalong Cassidy #69

Hopalong Cassidy encounters a dangerous lion that has escaped and threatens the town, forcing him to pursue the beast into the wilderness. After a tense confrontation where he manages to shoot the animal, Cassidy discovers criminals are using a burning wagon as cover for their scheme. He pursues the villains to stop the wagon and apprehend the "head of that murdering buzzard," with help from the sheriff in tracking down the culprits.
