Hopalong Cassidy #7 The issue contains two stories. In the main Hopalong Cassidy story, a cunning senor sells Hopalong a valuable white horse for one thousand dollars, then has his man Pablo steal the horse back from the corral while Hopalong pursues it. "Letter of the Law," by Carl G. Hodges, follows Jimmy Kenna and his father as they encounter a bear while prospecting for silver in Carbonate Creek; Jimmy saves his father by throwing a rock at the bear's head, and they discover silver ore where the bear fell. The issue also includes a comedic short story in which characters experience an extreme snowstorm that buries a town hall, leading to chaos and mishaps as they struggle with the weather.
